Choosing Your Path

Path of Exile 2 introduces 36 Ascendancy classes. Choosing the right one is critical for your build's success.

1. Sorceress

The master of elements. If you enjoy spellcasting, the Sorceress offers Ascendancies focused on destruction and elemental ailments. Great for league starting due to high base damage.

2. Monk

A high-mobility melee class. Ascendancies focus on combo strikes and evasion. Requires high skill to play but rewards you with incredible clear speed.

3. Mercenary

Uses crossbows and shotguns. A unique playstyle that feels more like a shooter. Ascendancies enhance ammo types and grenade usage.
