Classic Era & Hardcore Survival Guide

The journey to 60 is a marathon, not a sprint.

Whether you are playing on Classic Era clusters or testing your nerves on Hardcore, preparation is key. One mistake can cost you hundreds of hours.

1. Safe Leveling Zones

Avoid caves and murloc camps if you are solo. For Alliance, Loch Modan and Westfall are safer than Darkshore. For Horde, The Barrens is the gold standard for safe XP.

2. Gold Farming

Mount cost at level 40 is a huge hurdle. Start saving early. Skinning and Herbalism are the best moneymakers for fresh characters. Don't buy skills you don't use.

3. Dungeon Grinding

Dungeons offer the best loot but carry risks. Ensure your tank knows the pulls. In Hardcore, always have a Target Dummy or swiftness potion ready for emergencies.
