The Great Vault Explained

Maximize Your Weekly Rewards

The Great Vault is your primary source of high item level gear and tier set pieces in WoW. Understanding how to unlock all 9 slots is crucial for progression.

1. Raids

Defeating 2, 4, and 6 raid bosses unlocks slots. The item level depends on the difficulty (LFR, Normal, Heroic, Mythic). We recommend clearing at least 6 bosses on Heroic for a solid weekly option.

2. Dungeons (Mythic+)

Completing 1, 4, and 8 Mythic+ dungeons unlocks slots. The reward ilvl is based on the lowest key of your top 1, 4, or 8 runs. To get the maximum reward (Mythic track), you need to complete +10 keys.

3. World Activities

Completing Delves and World Events unlocks the final row. Tier 8 Delves offer Heroic raid level gear, making them an excellent solo option.
